The Annual Technical Research Meet on Deccani Sheep was organized in online mode at COVAS, Parbhani on 17^th March, 2022. It was organized by Deptt. of LPM and Poultry Science. The Scientists from various National Institutes delivered their talks on various aspects of Deccani sheep rearing. Associate Dean COVAS, Parbhani, Dr. N. M. Markandeya highlighted the research carried on Deccani sheep at COVAS, Parbhani, Chief Guest Dr. Shashank Kamble, Managing Director of Ahilyadevi Maharashtra Sheep and Goat Development Corporation, Pune gave an insight of the various activities carried out by corporation for sheep development and also the various schemes run by corporation for farmers. Dr. P. P. Nemade, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry, Parbhani guided the farmers on the various schemes run by AHD Dept. A total of 110 Sheep farmers throughout Maharashtra participated in the programme. Dr. M. B. A. Siddiqui, I/c Professor of LPM, Dr. M. G. Nikam, I/c Professor, Poultry Science acted as Chief Co-ordinator, Dr. M. D. Kharwadkar, Assistant Professor of LPM, Dr. V. S. Ingle, Assistant Professor of LPM and Dr. K. K. Khose acted as Co-ordinator and Dr. P. V. Nandedkar, I/c Professor of AGB, Dr. S. Sajid Ali, Assistant Professor of AGB and Dr. S. S. Gaikwad, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology were the Organizing Committee members.
